I have an existing ODK Aggregate server running on google appengine,
however, I went to upgrade the thing using the latest Windows installer and
I got an error when it went to push up to the server:
This app can't run on your PC
To find a version for your PC, check with the software publisher
I am running Windows8 64bit.
I did double check that I have the most recent version of JAVA installed
and updated. Is there a Win8 installer or is this due to something else?

I will be releasing a suite of new software (1.4.5) today or Monday, and
this will be fixed with the new release.
Looking at the changelog for the installer builder software ( BitRock
InstallBuilder ), the installer works for Windows 8, but does not work for
Windows 8.1. That is what is tripping you up.
I don't have a Windows 8 box to test on, but once I update the installer
builder, everything should work for the newer OS versions.
