Installing ODK on Google app engine

Hello,

I am trying to use Open Data Kit Aggregate, however when trying to install the app in Google app engine I ran into a problem. I do not know python or java and this is my first time playing around with a Google dashboard. My laptop uses Windows 7. I've been following the instructions on the ODK site for using Aggregate (http://opendatakit.org/use/aggregate/). I downloaded ODK Aggregate (this version: ODK Aggregate v1.3.2 windows-installer.exehttps://code.google.com/p/opendatakit/downloads/detail?name=ODK%20Aggregate%20v1.3.2%20windows-installer.exe&can=2&q=) fine and it installed. After that the ODK instructions say that "The installer will guide you through configuring ODK Aggregate for App Engine and then launch a script to upload this configured ODK Aggregate to App Engine." But when I try to run it, this is as far as it gets:

Looking for java...

found java in PATH... C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.7.0_07\bin\java.exe

Isn't it supposed to go further? What am I supposed to do from here? I had created the application beforehand on the app engine, but the status is still "none deployed."

This is pretty new to me and I am confused. Can someone help me?

Thanks!
Rebecca

I'm not quite sure what causes this error. When it has been reported, it
seems to be machine-specific.

When you run the installer, run it outside of the browser's download
window -- open a Windows Explorer (file explorer) window, look for it in
your Downloads directory, and double-click the installer to launch it from
there. This may be what is causing the problem.

If it still does not work, try uninstalling your Java system, downloading
the latest installer from

and installing that.
