Invisible GPS capture

Hi,

I am trying to figure out if there is a way to capture GPS more regularly
(maybe on a 5 minute interval) using the XLS form. Is this possible in ODK?
Could anyone help me with the code?

Thanks!

Hi Zahra,

In the stock ODK, I believe that you'd have to just scatter geopoint fields
through your form -- which would then allow the enumerator to periodically
capture their GPS position.

In the latest SurveyCTO release
https://www.surveycto.com/support/release-notes.html, we've also added a
"background" appearance for *geopoint *fields, so that you can capture
positions invisibly. These invisible geopoint fields can also be
scattered throughout your form, to capture positions at various points in
the survey. There is no "every x minutes" option, but you could roughly
approximate the effect by spacing the geopoint fields in your form.

Best,

Chris
