Is Appspot (ODK Aggregate) blocked in chinna

Hi Team...

we are paid member of *.appspot.com, when we try to access ODK Aggregate in
chinna, we are unable to open the appspot application.

is appspot blocked in chinna, how to overcome with this issue..

Thanking You

China blocks all HTTPS access to App Engine.

Using plain HTTP, which is not secure, will work. Not sure if securely
hosting on AWS (using a VM with Aggregate) would work. Doubt it.

Unfortunately, the installer assumes that HTTPS will always work on appspot
instances. This means that changing the password for an Aggregate user will
fail (as it is always done over https on Appspot).

If you are a developer, I can provide info on how to disable this (this
would mean that your passwords would be visible to eavesdroppers when
changing them). Setting up your own hosting sounds like your best option.

Hi Mitch,

Yes, I'm a developer
Please provide me the info on how to disable HTTPS on Appspot. That
would be great.

Kind Regards,

We use ODK Aggregate from China, the way we get it to work is on a a
Xen VPS running LAMP / tomcat (CentOS)
