Is it possible to determine submitting user userID?

Good day,

My data collectors each have their own username and password.
I'd like to be able to determine which username was used for a particular
submission.

I found this post from 2014 saying that one can use a userID field
https://groups.google.com/d/msg/opendatakit/5RggpD0xIsk/7fnzyFfxvu8J, but
this is no longer listed on the XLSForm page in the metadata section
http://xlsform.org/#metadata, and attempting it results in:
Unknown question type 'userID'.

Is there another way to determine this?

Thanks!
Andrew

Just a clarification:
I'm using the JSON publisher to push my data elsewhere, so pulling via
Briefcase and accessing metadata there is not an option (in case it is
accessible there).

Thanks,
Andrew

Have answered my own question:

Happened to come across the solution while looking for something else.
http://xlsform.org/ref-table/ <goog_1711198646> shows that there is a
meta-field
username

which gives the logged-in user's username.

Regards,
Andrew

No idea where these are in the xlsform documentation, but these are the
available property values:

Hi Mitch,

http://xlsform.org/ref-table has a good breakdown.
