Hello everyone,

I have failed multiple times to upload the ODK aggregate app to Google's appEngine. The error that comes up every time I try to run the output file is:

java.net.ConnectException: Connection timed out: connect
Unable to update app: Connection timed out: connect

Does this have something to do with firewalls set up? I am downloading on a work computer, and I assume we have some strong firewalls up. If I turn the firewall off to run the download, will I have major issues?

Hi there,

Yes, it sounds like your network is blocking all outgoing connections
to App Engine (or your connection is very slow). Talk to your IT team
at work or try the install on an external connection.
