example below where the text field is set to appear with 5 rows.

If somebody adds this to ODK Collect, please note that in Enketo
appearance=multiline will display a text field as a multiline textarea that
can be dragged to size by the user. See https://widgets.enketo.org/webform
(2nd question).
If this meets the needs, it would be good to use the same appearance value
to keeps things compatible. (Sorry, we should have asked the ODK Community
for input when we implemented this.)
