Limit to number of submissions for a single form?

I have to survey about 30,000 people and was wondering if ODK has the capacity to collect all the submissions. Will there be any significant problems? Also, is there a limit to the number of devices that can have the same form? (We'll have around 240 devices)

You should be fine.

There are no limits to the number of devices running ODK Collect that
can have a form. As far as submissions to ODK Aggregate, we know of
deployments with up to 4,000 devices submitting 40,000 forms daily to
App Engine that worked fine. The forms were short (10 questions) but
had a picture so it was a fair bit of data. See http://goo.gl/7YyC7
for more.

http://opendatakit.org/use/aggregate/deployment-planning/ has a good
section on dataset size that you should read. It notes that for
datasets over 100,000 forms you'd get better performance running the
database on a platform you control (e.g., use Tomcat/PostgreSQL not
App Engine).

Regardless of the above, you should test extensively first to make
sure your forms, your devices, your connections, and your servers can
handle your load. You should also have backups and all that good
stuff. And if you aren't sure how to do this yourself, there are lots
of good folks you can hire to help at
http://opendatakit.org/help/help-for-hire.
