Make an ODK form for survey in Urdu

Hi all,

After going through some intro videos of XLSforms available on ODK's
website i was wondering whether I have to follow similar guidelines to
develop an Urdu survey or it is different from developing English survey in
ODK? If it is different, would be great if you could share links/reference
materiel I need to look at.

Thanks Mitch. Does that mean I have to type Urdu in xlsforms? After
reviewing some posts (according to which some languages i.e Urdu and Hindi
are not supported by xlsforms) on web I was trying to figure out whether
ODK supports Urdu texts or not? If no, whether it translate text written in
English correctly?

Are there any Urdu sample forms available of the web?

Create a short test form and see.

You will need to use the test build:

This has updated Urdu translations. If you see any problems, please let me
know.

We have one known issue with decimal data entry in that build.

We will be releasing a newer ODK Collect soon. It is backlogged behind work
on the 2.0 tools.
