Making ODK Aggregate VM Accessible from outside

Hi All,

I have setup ODK Aggregate VM on my local server and I want to be able
to access it from other networks. Any instructions on how this can be done?

Kind regards,

Mofya

Mofya,

To do this, you have to make your VM publicly accessible on the
Internet with a static IP or fully-qualified domain name. Doing this
requires a fair amount of technical skill and I instead recommend you
use Aggregate on App Engine or do install Aggregate on a normal
Tomcat/MySQL server.

Thanks,

Yaw

More details on the steps are here:

In addition what is described there, since the VM is Linux, you also would
need to understand how to make any appropriate changes on Linux.

As Yaw says, if you are not tech-savvy, do not have an IT/network
specialist to help you, or do not have the time to become very
knowledgeable yourself, we would recommend against attempting this.

Troubleshooting network configuration problems, by its nature, has to be
done on site.
