Map Your World

For the past two years, we've been working to help a group of amazing kids
in Kolkata, India use mobile phones to help map social issues in their
community. You might have seen these kids as they were the subject of an
amazing documentary called the Revolutionary Optimists that aired on PBS
Monday night. They also have been on stage with Melinda Gates at the last
TedX.

The tools they've been using has been ODK Collect combined with formhub.

Inspired by the movie, youth groups from around the world are starting to
use ODK to map issues in their communities too. The new project lead by
the film makers is called Map Your World. You can check out a video about
the project here:

I just wanted to share as I think it's just another exciting example of how
people are benefitting from the output of the ODK community and project.
Projects like this wouldn't be possible without your collective efforts.

Thanks,

Matt

A very exciting documentary.

The ODK team can be very proud of his nice work.
