Modify Submitted Data at ODK Aggregate

Team,

Can we modify data submitted at ODK Aggregate. Want to fix errors done by
data collectors.

Thanks
techbyte

The ODK core team's original intention is that Aggregate be a data
store "of record" and should NOT be thought of as a database to
manage. Aggregate was meant as an non-editable record store that
enables users to move the to update, change, or curate (via exporting
or publishing). Consider routing the data to another DB, eg.
FusionTables that supports the editing and modification of data. I
hope you can understand that for many use cases it is important to
have a complete record of ALL submissions as they came in.

We will be changing the design in the ODK 2.0 to enable users to
curate data and make changes. However, ODK 2.0 protocols and full
toolset are not ready for release. In the meantime aggregate will
continue to only be a "store of record" until the tools that
supporting editing and synchronizing data are available.

Hello Techbyte,
I have ran into same problem as you on a project I am working on....So from
Waylon's answer I guess we have to wait - My prob is at this point my data
that I would display to my client would be inaccurate since it will have
holes in it.
