Hello ODK Community,
I was reading that for 1.1.7 (which 1.1.6 has been promoted to) allows
the display of multiple questions per page. Does this need to be
defined in the xfrom XML?

Yes, you will use a ... around a set of prompts in your
Xform. The questions within the tags will appear on one screen separated by
horizontal lines and be scrollable vertically.

Sorry. Didn't think you were going to go with it before our release.

There will be mostly for selects of different flavors, but too early to share.
For grouping multiple prompts onto a single screen "field-list" is about it.
Again, apologies. Release will be coming soon.
In the mid May release will there be the ability to add grouping to
repeating groups? I am working on a solution for a non profit that is
scheduled to be deployed in late May. Grouping is the final thing.
I don't want to duplicate efforts, but I also have to think about the time
constraints.
The ability to have persistent fields such as name/primary field or choice
when creating a repeating group
I am developing for a 7in tablet 480X800 so I want to exploit the screen
real estate. Attached is what I would like to do. I am not sure if this is
inline with what is being planned. Also attached is a smaller version
(V3)for 320X480.
Please let me know your thoughts,
All the best,
Joy

Joy,
Can you give an example of what you're trying to do that isn't working? I
think that you should be able to include grouped questions inside repeats
and it should work right now. The one case where that might not work
currently is if the only thing inside your repeat is a grouped question.
That's a trickier case that is still in the works.
