Multiple selection

Hi Guys,

I am very new to ODK and really lil ethic supplication, I am currently
designing a survey test for a project in Afghanistan. i have a question on
what multiple crops farmers are growing and the next 2 questions are
related and are asking what are your most important and second most
important crop.

I have a list of 30 possible response for the type of crop, but i would
like to add in a constraint/filter or relevant that only allows the
surveyor to only enter or select the crops already listed in the first
response. I have been looking at a minimal appearance too.

Any ideas

Thanks ODK looks amazing.

Best

Jon

You can easily do this with choice_filter. Check it out at:
http://opendatakit.org/help/form-design/xlsform/ under cascading selects.

Need help customizing Survey Instruments/Tools/Forms for ODK Collect? Drop
me an email.

Hi thanks for this, I have tried the cascade option, but if i would like to
select lets say multiple states and replace the select_one with
select_multiple then then countries available for selection falls over.

For my solution i need to select multiple choices of what crops are grown
and then instead of repeating all options just repeat those listed and
although the interviewer to selected just one.

is there away around this?

Thanks

Jon
