My tablet's battery holds a charge for 2 months

I just read the post about autosaving, and that it was needed due to
several reasons, including battery going dead. I have seen other posts
about battery life. If you are doing basic data collection (No GPS, no
photos, no GPRS data-transmission) then an Android e-ink converted reader
might be your ticket. I usually have to recharge it after 2 months, but
since my use is not so frequent, intensive use might require recharging
every month or three weeks. The screen is great in the sun as well. Battery
sufferers of the world unit ; ) Here are some pictures. https://sites.google.com/a/epiconcept.fr/odk/afritablet

Url isn't working in Gmail because of a %20 being added, but
https://sites.google.com/a/epiconcept.fr/odk/afritablet should work.

Agreed that this is an awesome and very cheap ODK device.

Hi Curtis,

This is fascinating. I have a very old kindle and the screen refresh rate
is pretty slow. I was just wondering how the refresh was on your device? In
particular when typing text into a text box.

Thanks,

Sarah Bird

Sarah,
I just made a quick little video with my phone so you could get a good
sense of how good/bad the screen refreshing is. I added the video to the
bottom of the same web page.

Hi,

Thanks for updating the video - looks really great - totally usable.

Love that its low power and daylight readable.

Great work.
