Need Android devices?

Hi ODKers,

Google runs an Android for Good program, where Googlers can donate their
used phones to on an annual basis and we give them to nonprofits. Last year
we had a number of users from this group, so this year we want to hear from
you again. We're looking for some deserving NGOs to donate these phones to!
This isn't a huge number of phones -- in the order of under 100.

We'll prioritize requests on a first-come, first-served basis. Please
specify if you have any constraints (eg. must run Gingerbread or newer, no
G1s, etc). You'll need to provide proof of your charitable status.

Sign up herehttps://docs.google.com/a/google.com/spreadsheet/viewform?formkey=dDY4S2YyMEVVR2RJT1V6NXFCZHN5b3c6MQ
!

Good luck,
Tanya

Tanya,

Prayasam kids! Will have Nicole and Maren signup.

Thanks!

Matt

Matt, Tanya, this would be amazing for the kids. Could we sign up as our nonprofit Helianthus Media (we are running Map Your World under this nonprofit) - we could give phones to Prayasam and other groups (Oakland, Philly, Kenya) working with us as we develop Map Your World?

Look forward to catching up with both of you soon! Tanya, you might want to check out the piece we did recently for the new TedXChange Melinda Gates hosted in Berlin last month - it features the kids, the phones, the maps & the data!

You can see it on our homepage : www.revolutionaryoptimists.org.

talk soon,
Nicole

Hi Matt, Nicole & Maren --

Great to year from you guys! YES you should absolutely sign up, Helianthus
Media sounds good, it's in Guidestar, which is where the AfG program will
be checking.

Looking forward to catching up with you all!! Thanks for sharing the recent
piece -- I'll view it when I'm on a decent connection
