Need Help to establish personal web server rather than google appsopt

Dear Sir
i just need help from you that how to make my personal web server to get my
collected data from ODK collect and how to make settings and installation
to build or setup my own web server.what is the procedure and process to
make it functionla i will be very thankful to you if any person can help me
in this field because i am new comer thanks in advance
