Greetings from Germany. I would like to test our first form with ODK Connect
running in Android SDK Emulator, since we have no device yet. Was able to change
server address, but User/PW stay greyed out. Is this specific to SDK use and on
the device this will be no problem? If SDK does not emulate Connect properly, is
there a local ODK Connect folder inside the SDK where I can put the XML form
into and it will be shown as local? Thanks for your support. Lucas

Sorry for the confusion!
Authentication is not implemented during the submission of data into
Aggregate. Therefore, the username and password fields of ODK Collect are
disabled.
We are working with the openrosa community to define an interoperable
standard for authentication between applications like ODK Collect and web
services like Aggregate. Once that is farther along, we will implement
authentication in ODK Collect and Aggregate during form submission.
