Newbie: External Server Error

Hi

Please help. I have completed my application in ODK Build and need to
export to Aggregate.

I keep getting Internal Server Error when doing this.

My app URL is correct and set up with Goodle Apps.

I am using Oracle VM Virtualbox version 4.3.12r93733

My ODK Build version is 0.85.

How do I remedy this?

Thanks for the help in advance

Can you clarify your setup? Are you using http://build.opendatakit.org
or do you have your own copy of ODK Build running somewhere? And for
Aggregate, are you using Google App Engine or do you have your own
server (e.g., Tomcat, ODK Aggregate VM)?

Dear Yaw

  1. I am using http://build.opendatakit.org

I have also verified the file, so there is no problem there.

I am truly stumped.

I attach herewith a RAR archive with the ODK form that I have developed if
you want to have a look.

Thanks Yaw

Sass,

ODK Build only automatically publishes to servers on Google App
Engine. That is why the URL it asks for is ________.appspot.com. If
you are using the ODK Aggregate VM, then you are running your server
on your local computer, and not on Google App Engine.

To manually add a form to ODK Aggregate VM, export the form XML from
ODK Build. Then see the Using the Application section (#3) at
http://opendatakit.org/use/aggregate to add the form.

As far as your VM not wanting to start, it's very likely an issue with
your network not handing out IPs.

See the instructions: http://opendatakit.org/use/aggregate/

for installing on Google AppEngine ( setting up your own appspot and
running it there ).

And follow the installation revisions here:
https://groups.google.com/forum/#!searchin/opendatakit/jar$20zip/opendatakit/ZfwyliI8WQ0/jmBq-qn0lUwJ

The current installer requires manual steps to work around a Google
infrastructure change. The revisions describe the steps to accomplish that.
