Node set property Required not working for Geoshape data type

Dear All,

I am using the geoshape data type in a form and the question is marked as Required but strangely it does'nt behave so and user can skip the question. While the same condition works for other questions. Is that Normal??? I have used it like this in a nodset.

Guide please.

I'm pretty sure there is no geoshape support in community build ODK
Collect. If you are using a third party build, you should ask said
third party.
