Thank you for your assistance.
It may be that your security software has removed execute privileges on
the directories and files in the TMP/TEMP path? Or that it has restricted
the permissions of the installer because it came from the internet???
The installer creates a directory named ODK-xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-**
xx**xxxxxxxxxx (x's are digits and a-f characters) in this TEMP / TMP
directory (your settings for these are fine -- I have the same settings).
The ODK-... directory and everything underneath should have full
read-execute permissions.
When you launch the installer, before you advance past the Welcome
screen, you should be able to use your Windows Explorer file browser to
browse to view that file, e.g.,
C:\Users\yourUserName\AppData****Local\Temp
These directories may be hidden, so you might have to type this in.
Within that TEMP directory (in which ODK-... is created), the installer
will also create a 'bitrock_installer_nnnn.log' file. What does yours
contain?
Here is an example of mine, after advancing to the licensing screen and
cancelling out.
-------bitrock_installer_4894.log-----------------------------
