Odk briefcase jpg error

Hello,

We have about 1000+ surveys so far that have been collected. ODK Briefcase
hasn't given us many issues. But right now, when I am trying to export the
data, I get the following error:

Failed writing csv: Source 'C:\Users\Shreya Agrawal\ODK Data\Oct 27 2014
.temp\1414073755820.jpg' does not exist
FAILED!

It is able to process alot of instances before this one and then it says
that it can't find this particular JPG file. We are using electronic
signatures so that's why the JPG files exist (I think). But I am not sure
why it says that this file does not exist and what's the process around
this?

The part in bold doesn't make sense to me. Can you please help???

Thanks!
Shreya

Are you using an encrypted form?

During the decryption process, the files are decrypted into the .temp
directory. This particular form is somehow missing the image associated
with it. This can prevent decryption of that submission (form answers and
the media attachments are jointly encrypted).

How are you pulling data into your ODK Briefcase? Is it manually from the
devices, or are you pulling from an ODK Aggregate?

The solution is to identify this problematic submission and either remove
it from your set of submissions or correct it.

Hi Mitch,

Thanks a lot for the response.

We are using encrypted forms and using ODK briefcase to decrypt. We are using the aggregate the upload the data.

So how do we determine what file is causing this problem? I am assuming the jpg is for the signature file - or can it be something else?
When briefcase downloads and decrypts the data, if we continue to have this error, will it stop the rest of the survey after this one from downloading or will the rest of them still download and only this one will give us an issue?

I am trying to determine the urgency of getting this error fixed.

Thanks
Shreya
