ODK Collect 1.4(1038) and ODK Aggregate v1.4 not shown message correctly

Hi there,

I converted my xls form into xml and it shows the hint correctly in enketo
webform. When I download the form or copy the xml form to my smart phone,
it shows incorrectly such as "Please enter ${0}. Your basline data is
${1}.". Please see the attached file of my xls form. Thanks so much for
your support.

Best regards,

Chan,

We recently discovered and fixed this in SurveyCTO. Basically, field
references aren't resolved in hints when the hints are translated into
multiple languages. It's a bug in JavaRosa, which will need to be fixed in
a new version of Collect. We've filed an issue with the fix here:

https://code.google.com/p/opendatakit/issues/detail?id=969

Best,

Chris

Hi Chris,

Does it mean that I need to wait for the new release of Collect? Is there
any timeline for this fix? Thanks.

Best regards,
Chan Choth

Hi Chan,

Yes, sorry, the core team will hopefully integrate it into their next
Collect release -- but I don't know precisely when that will be. We have
released our SurveyCTO version of Collect, but that only works with our
servers, unfortunately.

Best,

Chris
