I am very new to ODK collect. I am just building my 1st survey form. Can
anyone please tell me how I can save an incomplete survey and pull it back
at a later time t complete it?

Hi, Rubana.
Are you using odk build? if so, to save an incomplete form, go to: File--->
Save or Save as
to pul it back next time, go to:File--> OpenForm and choose your form to
complete on the list.

Thanks for taking the time to help me out.
What I meant was once I finish building the form and implement the survey,
can I save incomplete surveys (since the time is 1 hour and some
respondents may want to resume after a break) and then work on those
surveys again later?

Yes, at midway in the form when your enumerator gets tire, have him jump to
the end of the form (arrow/dot icon) and then swipe to get to final screen
that says "You are at the end of name_of_form" then uncheck the box "mark
form as finalized" and then save it. It cannot be sent and can be finished
at a later time and then mark it as "finalized" in order to send it.

Hi Rubana
It is simple. just tap on back-arrow, then options will come up to save
changes/ignore changes. If you tap on save changes, then the incomplete
will be saved on "Edit Saved Form" to start survey again later.

I am using ODK Collect v1.18.2
ODK aggregate v1.7.1 on windows.
OS- Andriod version 5.1.1 (Samsung Galaxy Tab A6).
Though this topic for discussion is almost some years now, but i cannot find my way out to enable use me continue use this app.
Please, I am counting on this forum for quick response.
