ODK customization

Good morning,
My company has bought the ODKAggregate VM package to use in a project, I
have been appointed to install it and do some customization on the VM
Tomcat6.

They asked to alter the login page so that it shows the logo of the client
and not ODK logo.

Create additional accounts with limitation to see only some data according
with the data origin.

To solve this two questions, because I could not customize the application
I have created another application to be the first to be shown with the
user visit the web site, this application has his own login system and
colects data from ODK tables to populate their tables.

The problem is that when I try to deploy the application, changing the root
context for my application to be the first to be shown, the changes does
not take effect and ODK crushs.

May you help me?

Antonio,

The VM isn't really meant to be changed this way. I'd recommend you do
a normal Tomcat install
(https://opendatakit.org/use/aggregate/tomcat-install/) so you can get
more control over your setup.

As to the problem at hand, you should start by looking at the Tomcat
logs in the VM to see what exactly is crashing. This sounds to me more
like a Tomcat config issue than an ODK issue.
