[ODK Developers] Re: URGENT: Select_one_external

Hi all guys! Thank you guys for the help...finally i got my select external
version!

The documentation on http://xlsform.org/#
externa
l (that now is offline i think temporarily) is that is says:

External selects
When an XLSForm with external choices is converted to an XForm,
two files will be produced
, the XForm (e.g., form-filename.xml) with all the normal choices, and

This is not true, you have to create manually (just for the choices with a
choice_filter) your itemsets.csv (separated with commas) and put every
record relates to the select_one_external response). in the documentation
would be great (till the patch doesn't arrive) to aware the users about the
warnings message during the online conversion fron xls to xml.

antway My complication was the follow: that i had in a choice_filter a
number variable and che choice filter didn't work till i converted that
variable in a string (that i think because of the string instead of select1
of the external modification)

so now everything is working great.

thank you guys!
Angelo
