ODK Instances

Hi Everyone,

Whenever I create ODK instances on my server after a week or two they both disappears i.e. they are deleted. I can't access them. This has been the case for 3 times now.
I tried to change the passwords, the IP address thinking that someone is accessing the server and deletes the instances knowingly.

Anyone with an idea as to why this is happening?

Vinny

I assume you have also unchecked the "Form Manager" permission for the
anonymousUser and clicked "Save Changes" to prevent an anonymous user from
accessing the Forms Management tab (which would allow anyone viewing the
website to delete your forms).

All forms, submissions, and media files are stored in the database -- not
under the Tomcat server. The server, itself, and the .war file, are
effectively read-only files and contain nothing that is updated or modified
during normal operation.

If the data is disappearing, that is the next place to look. Is there a
database backup being performed? Could others be accessing the database?
Are you perhaps clearing the data files that the database is storing all
its information in? Or changing the access permissions for those files so
they are not accessible? MySQL, on a Windows box, will write data to,
e.g., C:\ProgramData\MySQL\MySQL Server 5.7\
