ODK Survey -No manifest or missing manifest

Hey, I got this error when attempting to download a form. I get the error.
No manifest or missing manifest. Any pointers to solving this? Regards

ODK Survey 2.0 Beta-2 does not use the server to download the demo forms --
you need to download the Demo Files zip from

and install them onto your Android device.

If you were using the older Beta-1, it was using the
opendatakit-2.appspot.com server for this, but we have removed the older
forms and placed them in a similar zip at the above downloads page.

This form-downloading mechanism is still supported, but because we want
flexibility in changing the framework files as we add new functionality, we
no longer host the demo files on the server.

Hey Mitch,
I'm getting the same "No manifest or empty manifest" when attempting to download XML forms from my own instance of Aggregate. To confirm - Is Survey 2.0 Beta-2 still supporting xForm download from Aggregate?

Many thanks

Yes, the beta-2 (and the current release) both support this.

BUT, for the Beta-2, if you are starting with a clean install of the ODK
Survey Beta-2 APK on the client Android device, then you need to have a
server that contains both your forms and the framework (Common Javascript
Framework) form, and that needs to be downloaded to the device in order for
everything to operate correctly.

The framework javascript uses internal calls into the Java APK, and these
need to have matched versions -- beginning with rev 122 (Beta-3), we have
the framework integrated into the APK; prior to that, it was separate and
needed to be installed onto the device via grunt or via the legacy form
download of the framework form.

The "framework" formDef.json is in the ApplicationDesigner's app/framework
directory. The contents of that directory (e.g., the zips of the
sub-directories) need to be the 'media files' associated with that form
definition.
