Odk uload error

Kindly assist i have tried to resolve the following error but its bringing
up issues and its my first time to use ODK i have tried other platform
called survey cto and it worked,

Error: Problem with JavaRosa Parsing Form:
org.opendatakit.aggregate.exception.ODKIncompleteSubmissionData: Javarosa
failed to construct a FormDef. Is this an XForm definition?

Thanks Ronald for the quick reply, my file is an excel file so do i have to
convert it to xml or how am i supposed to proceed

Hi ,

It looks like your form is not Java Rosa compliant, use ODK validate to
check the form.

You can convert your form to xml here: http://opendatakit.org/xiframe/

If it does have errors you should get warnings. Note: ODK validate is still
the best tool to make sure that your form is JavaRosa compliant
