ODK XForms Question

Hello,

I am in the planning phase of a project to provide a data collection
solution to a client. From what I can gather, ODK does everything that the
project would require, however, there is one feature for which I can find
no documentation. I understand the concept of certain questions being
dependent on certain responses, but is it possible to provide "suggestions"
to the interviewer based on certain responses? To clarify, if an
interviewer were in the field taking a survey and the interviewee responded
yes to questions A and B, could 'question' C simply be a text prompt for
the interviewer to offer a certain (probably spoken) suggestion to the
interviewee? Thank you in advance for any help you may be able to offer. If
you need any further clarification of this scenario, please feel free to
ask.

Andy

Yup. You can make prompt C (which can be marked read-only) relevant if
prompts A and B are yes. You can even make prompt C an audio prompt
that plays exactly what you want the interviewee to hear.

Andy,

If you checkout this form represented in an XLSForm (compatible with ODK)
you'll see this logic on line 16 in addition to a lot of other time of
functionalities you might want (constraints, select one, select multiple,
etc).
