ODK2.0: Pass value from ODK Survey to external app

Hello ODK Developers,

I designed a simple external app for ODK Survey and everything works nice.
But I don’t know how I can pass the previous value which I get from the
external app and stored in survey database back to the external app. How
could I solve this?
