ODK's XLS2XFORMS versus Formhub's XLS2XFORMS syntax

Hi there

I have read both of the above and they don't seem to be compatable.

Here is ODK's link http://opendatakit.org/help/form-design/xls2xform/

and here is Formhub's link http://formhub.org/syntax/

Which is which or rather which syntax should I use? Perhaps ODK is
referring to old syntax no longer in use?

ODK's help does not work with formhub, although it appears that ODK
can do much more esp. when it comes to appearance. But then its
useless when I can't create it with XLS2XForms.

Is it possible to update ODK or change the link if I need to run it
somewhere else than at Formhub.

Yes this is a known problem. We're trying to converge the two standards to
one. Both the ODK and formhub team's are meeting on thursday to help sort
this out and we'll hopefully push some code shortly after.

The new syntax will probably bring in the more advanced features display
features + new widgets on the ODK version but with some of the simplified
syntax we're using on formhub.

I realize this is frustrating and it's a top priority for us to get this
sorted.

Thanks,

Matt
