Populate to aggregate

I haven't worked on ODK since last Sept. anything changed since then?
because I couldn't populate a form to aggregate: myaccount.appspot.com.
appreciate any help. Thanks,

Google has been changing a lot of things.

Google moved the appengine management URL to underneath their Google Cloud
Platform system.

You can still get there from here: http://appengine.google.com

You will need to be logged in under the gmail account that you created your
appspot instance under.

If that URL stops working, the new URL is https://cloud.google.com/ and
then click on "My Console" to the right of the search box.

However you get there, the appspot instance name is in a drop-down
selection box on the top menu bar to the right of the search box.

If you did not upgrade to an ODK Aggregate that uses super-user usernames
instead of super-user gmail accounts, you will need to upgrade before you
will be able to log in, as Google deprecated that feature 2+ years ago.

Hi Mitch,
I really appreciate your prompt reply because I need it for our data
collection soon.
I am able to access both http://appengine.google.com and
https://cloud.google.com/.
I am in cloud.google.com right now. it automatically logged me in somehow.
Could you tell me how to do the upgrade ("If you did not upgrade to an ODK

Google deprecated that feature 2+ years ago.")
Thanks much

The upgrade steps are detailed here:

I have not yet updated these with the new Google Cloud Platform placement
of things, so you might need to hunt for, e.g., the Logs to determine the
version you are currently running since you cannot log in.

HI Mitch,
I am able to login. The only thing I couldn't do is from a form that
created in build.opendatakit.org. I am not able to go to File - Publish to
Aggregate that I used to do. It gives me an 'Internal Server Error'.
I checked my Aggregate version, it i s1.4.4.
Thanks,

I am quite confused with what I supposed to do. I am using the export to
xml option then load the form to the aggregation right now. Before solving
the error of 'Internal Server Error' I am hoping it won't effect our data

Any help or confirmation would be much appreciated.

OK. That is much clearer.

Google disabled the functionality that ODK Build used to publish forms
directly into it
(this was "Oauth 1.0"
https://developers.google.com/identity/protocols/OAuthForWebApps#migration )

Google also disabled the mechanism that we used when we offered signing-in
with Google Gmail accounts
(this was "OpenID Connect"
https://developers.google.com/identity/protocols/OpenID2Migration)

Now, you must:

(1) download XML from ODK Build (to your computer),
(2) then log into your ODK Aggregate using an ODK Aggregate username and
password,
(3) choose the Form Management / Forms List sub-tab
(4) click on "Add New Form" and specify the XML file you downloaded in step
(1)

So the configuration you have now is fine.

The software does not need to be updated.

You just need to do things differently.
