I connected my Power BI to ODK Central through OData feed and anytime I click on a table it has to reconnect to ODK Central, and with the strength of internet connectivity in Ghana, it is making the use of OData with Power BI very unattractive. Is there a way that can stop connecting to ODK Central while I model the data? I want to have a way that I can clean my data fast before refresh to get new data submitted. Hope to hear from you. Can you try disabling the power query background refresh?

By the way, which version of PowerBI are you using? Desktop or online version?
For the online version, there is also a way to schedule data refresh instead of letting it run automatically.
