Problem getting forms from Aggregate

Hi all,

I'm trying out Collect v1.1.7-RC1 and Aggregate v1.0 beta rev 2. I
have a couple of forms on Aggregate but I cannot access the server
from the device. From Manage Forms > Get New Forms, I get the error
"Form listing failed. http://crcbaseline.appspot.com/formList
responded with: Internal Server Error (500)".

One of my forms has groups of questions about individuals in a
household. I want to repeat the same questions if there are more
members. I want to know how best to use repeats. I tried using the
Group function with the 'loop' option checked, but found it a little
confusing; at the first group of questions, I was able to add new
groups, but then the form finishes without reaching the second group.
Can it be done in Build (either using the group function or not) and,
if so, which version of Collect is best, or does it have to be defined
in the xform?

Any help would be appreciated,
Glyn

hi glyn,

if you can, please upgrade to the latest aggregate -- beta r3 and see
if that works better. if it's still broken, add yanokwa@gmail.com as
an admin (or some dummy account) so i can help debug. because you have
auth on, i really can't do much. once you do that, email me directly,
and i'll give it a try.

how you describe repeats is how we use them -- they should work in
collect 1.1.5 and 1.1.7. either way, it sounds like something is
broken in your form. please post the raw xml to http://dpaste.com and
respond to this list with a link. we'll try to track down where things
are going wrong.

Hi Yaw,

I've upgraded to Aggregate beta r3 (I'm also using Collect 1.1.7) and
form listing seems to be fine. I've had to login as an anonymous user
because I only have a Google account, not ODK. How does one do this,
or is it something that will become available when the beta version is
stable and formally released?

I've looked into the problem I've been having with skips within
groups. If I remove all relevance from each field, the form works, but
if I define a relevance expression relating to a previous field within
the same group, Collect force-closes. I've posted a short example
here: http://dpaste.com/588809/. I'd appreciate it if you can tell me
what's wrong.

Many thanks,
Glyn

To create an ODK user simply use the add user box at the bottom of the
permissions page.
