We encountered an issue loading ODK on a health promoter’s phone yesterday. All of the health promoters have the same phones – but the others were able to download and open ODK without any problems. All phones have a 4BG SD card.
We received this error message after downloading ODK and attempting to open:
ODK reports::cannot create directory:/mnt/sdcard/odk/cache
Any suggestions for how to fix this? We tried switching out SD cards but it seems to be an issue with the phone itself.
Note that ODK Collect will fail to start up if you have Turned on USB
Storage (so that the phone's SD card is visible as a removable drive on
your computer).
Others might have further insight into possible problems.
