I need to have parameters of forms (that have been setup within Excel) updated on a continual basis by an external source via an API.
Hence, for example, set of parameters and choices pre-defined are updated on an automated basis.
Pretty much what ODK Survey offers via its query option:

However, because ODK Survey is not yet suitable for production use, is ODK Collect able to perform this function?
I will appreciate any reference in how to perform this task with ODK Collect.
