QR Code reader for server settings

One feature we've been discussing that would be really nice for ODK is the
ability to pass the Server (and ideally Username and Password) setting via
a QR code reader on the settings page.

I realize this adds the requirement of having a barcode reader installed
but is this a feature people would want to see? If so, we could
potentially work on it if we could get it merged back in.

Just wanted to gauge interest on the idea.

Thanks,

Matt

The ODK core team would be willing to merge the change set into
Collect's source code (assuming the code is quality and not a fragile
hack).
