I am a student of environmental engineer and I'm preparing a Thesis awith an application related with Citizen Science.
I've created a specific XLS form for your fantastic ODK Collect.
I have some question and suggestions to share with you:
QUESTIONS

I'd like to insert the coordinates of point of interest in an off-line map by hand, in the same way of the example I can display in ''Preview in Enketo''after XForms conversion. How can I do?

considering skipping question ('relevant' column in survey section) and just using your XLS form, I want to skip one screen if I select one specific name in 'choice' folder.
I try to explain me better with this example:
I have a list of trees (50 names):

holm
-
pine
-
acer
.....
OTHER
Selecting one name, in next screen I will display a specific card but I have no card for OTHER selection, so I want to skip this screen.
If I input in relevant column: ${plant} = 'holm' or ${plant} = 'pine' or ${plant} = 'acer' or ...... 'all names except OTHER', I can reach the target but it's a long process because I have more than 50 names. What do you suggest to me?
- in some mobile device the initial Logo has been displayed in smaller format. Maybe it is a problem with Android version (Android 4.2.2. Kernell 3.4.0-2340422) but I try to change display format without results. Did you receive a similar feed back?

- INITIAL SCREEN
First screen is not editable: the instructions are just in english, this is a negative impact for people not English mother tongue.
There are some errors in Italian translation:
''Back to previous prompt'' wrong translated in ''tornare alla precedente prompt'': correct Italian translation " Torna alla schermata precedente" or, better, ''Torna indietro''
''Forward to next prompt'' wrong translated in '' per il prossimo prompt'': correct Italian translation "Procedi alla schermata successiva" or, better, ''Vai avanti''
DATE SELECTION SCREEN
Date selection button was better in previous version of tool; now in small screens is very difficult to be used in particular for old people or not ''expert'' in using smartphone.
PICTURE, VIDEO, SOUND CAPTURE SCREEN
There is a graphic error:
first button is fully written in lower case while second button starts in capital letter
There is a wrong italian translation
Take Picture Wrong translation: Scattare una foto Correct translation: Scatta foto
Select Picture Wrong translation: Scegliete immagine Correct translation: Seleziona immagine
Make video Wrong translation: Registra un video Correct translation: Registra video

FINAL SCREEN

Mark form as finalined Wrong translation: 'segna questa forma' Correct translation: 'Spunta modulo come definitivo' (I think this is an unuseful option, can be omitted).
''FORM'' word translation: the word ''Forma'' in Italian doesn't exist, it is correctly displayed just one time as '' Modulo''
ENKETO CONVERTER FOR COMPATIBILITY WITH APPLE/WINDOWS DEVICE
I read some post in your community and I agree that a huge limit in the distribution of your system is the incompatibility with Apple and Windows devices but I understand open source ethic and cost of development.
Anyway I understood that Enketo Smart Paper (at the moment I never use it) is compatible with Apple and Windows devices Do you have a specific tool or a converter to transfer your form in Enketo Smart Paper?
