Re-using existing ODK Collect XML Form

Hey Guys:

As you have already noticed, I am new in this world of ODK Collect. I have
received some forms from a colleague and I need to edit them. I have full
access to the server, the forms in XML format, images that are part of the
forms, etc. I want to know what would be the best way to accomplish the
following issues:

a) convert this forms to Excel (for printing), and
b) How can I import this forms into an ODK Collect builder (or something
like Kobo Collect, or similar).

Thank you so much for your guidance and patience with this newby.

Best,

Alvaro

Alvaro,

There is experimental support for going from XML to XLS in
KoboToolbox. See

Thank you so very much Yaw:

I tried the suggested solution and the following errors appear:

  1. Error: list indices must be integers, not str

XForm imports are not fully supported. Please check the correctness of the
resulting survey.

and

  1. Error: maximum recursion depth exceeded

XForm imports are not fully supported. Please check the correctness of the
resulting survey.

Any thoughts?

Thanks

Alvaro

Hi Alvaro,

Sounds like it can't import your form. Ask the Kobo team or you'll
rebuild your form.
