We also tried updating the redis main and cache keys with the new domain, but it seems some keys are not getting updated

How did you update the keys? This script replaces the old domain with the new one. Once you make that change, everything will work as expected.

So now my question is, can I simply empty out the REDIS keys in main and cache ? We do not use survey functionality.

I would not do this. You also need Redis for editing and previews.
