# Renaming of the Edit Saved Forms to enable distinguish

there is no way to somehow automatically rename all those saved surveys. You can open them one by one and update their names manually but yeah it will be difficult taking into account you have 400 files.

For the future: you can set instance name based on passed answers for example [Setting instance name - #2 by Prasanna\_Sundaram](https://forum.getodk.org/t/setting-instance-name/19048/2)
