Repeat dialogs - Groups in ODK collect

Hi,

I have been using ODK since a couple of days and I've modified ODK collect to match my requirements. Everything has been going fine and it is my duty to thank everyone who as contributed to this project. Hats off guys!

I have been eager in modifying the repeat dialogs in ODK collect because I have 4 continuous repeat dialogs coming one after the other if the previous "do not add" is clicked. After the 4th one, I close the form.

Instead of showing 4 separate dialogs one after the other in a row, I'd like to put up all the actions in my own custom dialog (which I have done already). But what's not working as expected is the assignment of instance IDs. Does it follow a pattern? How can I set the IDs to forms manually using code? Is there a "branch" function I can use instead? Kindly let me know.

Regards,
Daya

See http://opendatakit.org/help/form-design/

it describes the meta/instanceID field
