Replace form in aggregate

Right now, Aggregate doesn't allow me to upload another form with the
same data id replacing an existing one. I have various select1
questions in my form and I want to be able to replace the form
definition without actually removing the existing form and creating a
new one. Deleting the form and replacing it will do two things. One,
it will wipe all the entries in that form. Two, it will also break the
fusion tables link and I will have to replace the new table ID in my
interface. Is there a simpler way to replace the form definition,
provided the questions remain the same?

Unfortunately, no. You need to use different formIds.

Are there any plans of implementing an interface in Aggregate that
lets you edit form definition?

There are some plans but during the aggregate survey and interviews to
determine new features it it was not rated as high. There are also
interesting problems about merging data that while easy to do manually is
harder to have aggregate do the right thing automatically for all cases. I
would not expect to see this feature released soon since there are manual
work a rounds to merge data.

Fair enough. Thanks for the reply.
