Resend form to mobile in order to update previous positioned data on the field

Hi,

My data collection has two steps.

Step 1: survey including data and gps position.

Step 2: returning on the field to update exactly the same record (by
visualising it as a pin on the map, clicking on it and update previous
data).
It's not necessarily the same mobile that will returned on the field.

thanks!

This revising-existing-data usage is what the ODK 2.0 tools are intended to
solve.

For the ODK 1.0 tools, there are various wrappers people have written to
accomplish this. You might look at Survey CTO, for example.

Hi Mitch,

Smap Server is designed to do this as well. You can create tasks from
existing data and then assign them to users. When the users press refresh
on the android client (fieldTask) they will receive these tasks. The tasks
can be set to require completion of a new form at the location of the old
survey or to update the previous results using the same form.

smap server can be downloaded from http://smaphs.com/downloads.shtml

regards

Neil
