Restricting choices in repeated select_one questions

Hi There, re-posting this to see if anyone has any bright ideas - no responses to original query.

Hi there,
I'm trying to set up a repeated 'select_one' type question such that selecting a choice then makes that choice unavailable for subsequent repeats. I've seen one way of doing this using choice filters but since I have 25 repeats for one question and 100 for another, implementing it in that way is going to be messy. I've hunted around for ways of doing this, but can't find anything. Anyone have any ideas?!
Phil

I'm not sure there is a solution. For cases like these, we often recommend
writing an external application to handle the more complex logic, but, in
your case, you would need the data from all preceding repeat groups in
order to apply the logic to the current one, and we have no way to send all
of that information to the external application.
