Select all?

I've got hundreds of forms filled out and I don't see from the 'manage data'
page how to "select all" for deletion. Is it always necessary to select
each individually for deletion?

If you want to delete everything, the easiest thing is to delete the form
itself, which will first delete all the submissions to the form, then remove
the form definition. This can take several seconds if you have lots of
submissions for the form.

You then, of course, would need to upload the form after all of this to get
back to where you'd be if we had a delete-all-submissions button.

another option is to remove the instances manually from the sd card.

To clarify here, I think Mitch is talking about Aggregate and Steve is
talking about Collect.

In Collect, deleting a form won't delete the instances filled out for that
form. I thought we added "select all" buttons to all of the data management
screens, but it looks like we forgot that one. Given that, the easiest way
currently is to just delete the instance folders on the sd card.

Along with my xml2csv utility I kludged up I do have the option to select a
date and remove all entries for that date but that requires USB connection.
Seems to me that it would reasonable request to be able to select all for
clearing so my data entry folks can do it on the fly as desired. Something
that basically initiates a "rm okd\instances* /S" (or whatever the old Dos
Command was. -steve-
