I have an external list that is very long so i was trying to add a search/autocomplete feature but it does not work..

Am on windows 10 machine

I tried to sue autocomplete/search under appearance but it did not work.
4. What steps can we take to reproduce the problem?
Create a list of select_one_external and have autocomplete/search under appearance.

Which platform are you using? app version?
Can you attach the excel / .xls form here?
Are you using enketo form or kobo?
Test in the mobile mobile app, ie collect. These functionality was not available in enketo/ kobo. For specific enquire on this, checkout their community

The issue is not external selects but implementing a search/autocomplete on an external select.
