Dear colleagues,
I have developed one questionnaire which need to be rolled out on the 200 tablets.
My question is the required settings need to be done on the tablets e.g. server path, user name, password, auto send response etc.
Can I do these settings on on tablet and then copy some setting file to rest 199 tablets?
Or I need to do it one by one on each tablet.
Please help me in this regard.
You can if you are using ODK Collect v1.3 and higher...
From the main screen, tap the menu button. Tap Admin Settings, tap the
menu button again, tap Save Settings to Disk. This will save your
general and admin settings to /sdcard/odk/settings/collect.settings.
Copy this settings file to /sdcard/odk/collect.settings of any other
device running ODK Collect v1.3 or higher, and when you re-launch ODK Collect,
it will automatically load those settings, and delete that file.
