Hi,
We are trying to collect some general data about the soil in specific locations that are provided to us. As our researchers indicated that buildin GPS sensor can not be used as an option. We are hoping to get a single read from the Bluetooth dongle for each location.
I have already created a XForm and uploaded to ODK Aggregate.
I know that partially a code has to be written, where do I write it and how?
It's not clear to me that code has to be written. First, make sure the
bluetooth GPS can pair with your phone. Then use this app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=googoo.android.btgps&hl=en
(or something similar). Then when you go to record location, I believe
it will grab it from the Bluetooth GPS.

Hi Yaw,
I have disabled location services of the phone through settings.
Then I connected to Bluetooth device, even if the application ( https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=googoo.android.btgps&hl=en )
was able to retrieve data, ODK gave an error claiming location services are
disabled.
Regards,
